Kristin Fischer is set to join CNN as the Space and Defense Correspondent in July 2021. In her role as Space and Defence Correspondent at CNN, she has to cover everything ranging from NASA and its recently created Space Force up until commercial space firms, as well as the growth and advent in space travel. Kristin, the daughter of NASA astronauts and an enthusiastic space lover was raised in the industry. She served for five years in the position of White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy under the Trump and Biden Administrations. In that period, she also covered presidential impeachment trials and the presdiential 2020 campaign, and two attempts by the administration to stop the spread of coronavirus. Kristin travelled frequently, and both with the president and vice-president. She even went on an extremely secret trip to Afghanistan together with Donald Trump. Kristin had spent almost an entire decade working in the TV industry.
